Caring for Plated Jewellery

Gold plating is a skin, not a stone. Treat it the way you treat silk: keep it dry, keep it away from alcohol, and let it rest between wears.

Put your jewellery on after perfume, moisturiser and hairspray — not before. Most tarnish arrives from a bottle, not from the air.

Wipe each piece with a dry, soft cloth before it goes back in its pouch. Thirty seconds of care buys years of shine.
