House of Samar works in small batches from a single bench. Obsidian glass, gold-plated brass and a great deal of patience — finished to the standard of a jewellery house, priced for a life that actually moves.
Our materials
18k gold plating
A generous micron layer over hypoallergenic brass, sealed against tarnish so daily wear stays daily.
Hand polish
Every surface is finished by hand to a molten sheen — the last step no machine does convincingly.
From sketch to seal

Drawing
A shape is sketched around the body first: collarbone, earlobe, knuckle.

Casting
Small batches only, so a flawed pour is discarded rather than sold.
03
Setting
Stones are seated by hand and checked against movement, not just stillness.
04
Sealing
A final protective seal, then a wear test before anything leaves the bench.
